Cute actress Shivshakti Sachdev, better known as Bebo of Sabki Laadli Bebo, has just wrapped up the season 2 of her popular Disney show The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and is on the lookout for more daily shows. “I would prefer youth concepts or something romantic but let’s see what is in my destiny,” she quips. The actress, who first began her TV career with Hero on Hungama, later did Break Time Masti Time on Disney. “My first foray into GEC was with Uttaran and Balika Vadhu. However, the game changed when I bagged the lead role in Sabki Laadli Bebo. In this show, I essayed a double role playing both the positive and negative character,” Shivshakti avers. After playing a lead, what made you take a negative role in Afsar Bitiya? “I did this for my fans as I wanted to show them that I am a versatile actress. I also did not want to be typecast just as a good girl. Along with Afsar, I did the first season of The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir. So, my viewers got to see different shades of me,” she informs. How is the experience of working with Disney? “They really pamper and love us. The shooting schedules are much more relaxed. Since we shoot in advance, we shoot only thrice a week and as kids are involved, our shoot hours are only post-2pm and early pack ups. There are no last minute changes,” Shivshakti answers. Coming to Suite Life of Karan & Kabir, she says, “As a child, I would see the English version (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) and would love the cozy character of London. I never thought that I will ever get a chance to essay what Brenda Song has been doing. I love playing a bimbo for it is fun,” she observes. So who is real, Bebo or Rani (her character name in The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir)? “I am just like Bebo because I prefer to spend time with my family. If in the future I do find a guy, he will have to be someone who loves me and respects my family.”
