I slept in trains and on platforms during my struggling days: Deepak Chadha

MUMBAI: There are thousands of actors who play supporting roles to the protagonists, give the film a new lease of credibility, and areas, if not more, talented than the main leads. However, they do not receive as much fame and stardom as they deserve. Here, we present a list of some of the most significant Indian television, web, and Bollywood actors who we hope eventually get their due in the future.

TellyChakkar spoke to actor Deepak Chadha and asked him about his journey in the industry and upcoming projects.

We asked the actor how he started his journey, to which he said that he always wanted to be an actor since he was a kid. He started doing plays and eventually ventured into full-fledged acting. Subsequently, he came to Mumbai to pursue acting as a professional.

He also said that it’s very difficult to survive in the industry. When he came to Mumbai, he didn’t have anything. In fact, he used to sleep in the local train. At the time, he had to do everything by himself as his family was against his passion. And today, he feels that parents themselves want their children to become actors and support them for the same. He believes that the means to get into the industry are varied now, which was not the case before.

We asked him about his upcoming projects, to which he said that he has finished shooting for his serial Band Baja Bandh Darwaza on SAB TV as well as a Tamil and Hindi movie. In addition, he continues to be seen in Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India.

Any piece of advice for aspiring actors? 'Fight for your dreams and do not give up your dignity. Just be focused and hardworking. Moreover, take care of your health,' he shares.

Well, we wish Deepak good luck for his upcoming projects.
