The sizzling Vrushika Mehta, better known as ‘Sharon Rai Prakash’ from Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance, has ruled many hearts with her enigmatic performance on the show. We all know about her love and passion for dance. The chirpy actress got chatty with Tellychakkar.com and shared her future plans.
Taking about D3, she said, “I really miss D3 friends, dance, the onscreen and off screen fun. I miss Bharat and Amar’s funny videos, which we used to shoot in the break time. I cherish all those memories.”
With the show wrapping up, how are you keeping yourself busy? “Busy is the wrong word, I am not at all busy, but I have become too lazy and fat because I am just indulging in food,” said the pretty lass.
So are you looking for only lead roles? Vrushika quipped, “I am surely looking for some good work and it should be a lead. It is not a compulsion that it should be a positive role as I am ok with negative roles too. But yeah, daily soaps are not my cup of tea as I can’t do all that saas-bahu type rona-dhona. I would only like to do youth shows but as it is for Indian television there would be a little bit of drama for sure!"
Any reality show you would love to work for? “As dance is my passion, I would love to take up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Dance India Dance. I can never do shows like Bigg Boss. I will start crying if someone yells at me,” she said.
If given a chance, who would you like to romance on screen? Vrushika said, “I am a big fan of Hrithik so I would to romance him onscreen. Moreover, we are both into dancing so we will be the perfect match.”
Have you set any goals for yourself? “I am not a person who sets goals and works towards it, I just do the work which I like to do. I think I have small wishes and want them to get fulfilled.”
Where do you see yourself after ten years? “I have not thought of it but as I am from a Gujarati family, I think I would be married by then."
What type of roles do you aspire to do in the future? “I would love to play a role of a psycho as I want to experiment once. If you see those funny videos of Bharat, I have done a bit of my pagal panti and I really enjoyed it so it would be a pleasure recreating that for the small screen," she said.
When are you making a comeback? “I want to make it soon for my fans and I wish I get a psycho role!"
Any fan moments you would like to share? Vrushika said, “There are many such lovely fan moments. I recently went for a college event with Bharat where there was an engineering teacher who loved D3 so much that she saw us and started crying and she remembered each and every scene and was sharing her favourite moments. She was making us emotional with love. I was truly mesmerised seeing her love towards us.”
