MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is doing well when it comes to the ratings. The show took a 20-year leap a while ago; we now get to see a new grown-up Imlie, played by Adrija Roy and Agastya played by Sai Ketan Rao.

When the serial had just taken a leap the show was doing well and it was among the top five shows when it came to the TRP ratings and the audience was in love with the love story of Agastya and Imlie which had just begun.

But now suddenly a twist was introduced in the serial and Agastya's character was scrapped all of a sudden and suddenly the love story came to an end which didn't go down well with the audience.

Since, Agastya's character came to an end the TRP of the show has fallen down and things haven't been the same since then.

The fans have come out and have shared their disappointment for the sudden change in the track.

They have said that when they were liking the track of Agastya and Imlie and their love story was just above to begin that's the time when the makers decided to end the love story and kill him which they couldn't understand why?

Fans feel that if the track wasn't changed the TRP wouldn't change and they feel or assume that the makers will bring back the character of Agastya.

Karan Shah: The track of the show was going on well and we were liking the love story and chemistry between Agastya and Imlie and all of a sudden the makers killed Agatya's character and we didn't understand the reason why and I seriously feel that could have been the major reason for the fall.

Preeti Sharma: I was in love with the previous track of the show the chemistry that both Agastya and Imlie had is so different from Imlie and Surya though the same person is essaying the role, but I still felt Sai was better as Agastya and I feel the makers should bring back the show.

Neha Khanakia: When Agastya's character came to an end I was in shock because their love story was just about to begin and then suddenly it came to an end. I think this was a setback for me as an audience and hence the TRP came down.

Naina Jaiswal:  I feel sometimes change is essential in a TV show as telecasting the same thing again and again is not  right and people do want change. I guess to see Sai suddenly as Surya is giving a new fresh essence to the beginning of Imlie and his love story.

Kabir Grover: I feel Surya is bringing a new freshness to the show and the fights between Imlie and him is also what I like. I think the sudden change in the show is working and is doing well.

Well, there is no doubt that the sudden change in the story of the show brought down the TRP of the show.
