MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown dance reality show, ‘India’s Best Dancer – Season 4’ , has revealed it’s ‘Best Barah’ and viewers ‘Can’t Keep Calm’! This weekend, in the ‘Grand Premiere’ episodes themed ‘Stage to Stardom’, the judges aka the ‘ENT’ Specialists - Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis will announce an exciting but important milestone that will add an extra edge to the journey of the contestants. For the first time, the Best Barah will be scored during the Grand Premiere, kickstarting the competition from the word go, and that’s not all! Out of the Top 12 contestants, only the Best 6 will have the opportunity to be seated in a special section week after week wherein they will have to strive hard to maintain their leadership.
Paired with choreographer Bharat Ghare, contestant Vaishnavi Shekhawat, from Rajasthan, and now residing in Bengaluru will present a blend of modern contemporary and jazz-funk dance styles to the song, ‘Hum Mile Na Mile’ from the film ‘Kisna’, leaving the Judges stunned.
Karisma Kapoor commented on her performance, saying, "Vaishnavi and Bharat, this was a beautiful performance. Vaishnavi, you are graceful, beautiful,and as magical as a swan.”
Judge Geeta Kapur added, saying, “Vaishnavi, right from the start, I haven’t seen a more dignified dancer than you. There is beauty, dignity and grace when you dance. It is so pure and pristine; these qualities are ingrained in you, don’t leave that ever.”
After Vaishnavi’s performance, the contestants and choreographers, including host Aniket Chauhan indulged in a dance Cypher, wherein they danced in the middle of the stage one after the other, showcasing their unique dance moves. The judges enjoyed all the performances, especially Judge Karisma Kapoor who was witnessing this genre of dance for the first time.
