Hello everyone, this is Angad Hasija whom you know for his path breaking role of Alekh in Bidaai. Recently, I was seen as Satya’s friend in Savitri on Life OK.
For a long time, I wanted some kind of interaction with my fans so here I am, talking to you all via Tellychakkar.com.
Well, well, hailing from Chandigarh, I am here in Mumbai to display my talent on television. Talking of my qualification, I need to tell you that I did my diploma in interior designing from Chandigarh. While interior designing is my passion, acting is my profession. Acting happened because my mother wanted me to be in this art form, while interior designing is what I wanted to pursue. Even today I have a place for interior designing somewhere in my heart and am still trying to leave my mark in that as well.
As a person I am a very simple guy who loves living in his own comfort zone. I don’t like roaming out unnecessarily; I like making loads of friends and spend good time with them. In short, you can say that I am a homely person who lives in one’s shelter.
Cherishing one’s past is very amazing when you have loads of good memories to share. My most wonderful role, or you can say the character which gave me identity in television as well, was of Alekh in Bidaai. To play that kind of role that was never attempted on television, I was the fortunate one who was given an opportunity to set a mark for people coming to this industry. I don’t know what you will call it as; you can either call it my fortune or my hard work.
My start in this industry was very good enough because I got to work with wonderful people with promising roles in my hand. The entire journey of my life throughout has been filled up with different kind of roles and I am lucky that I found very helpful people throughout. For me, Alekh was the most challenging role that I did so far and I believe that it has given television a new version of entertainment and drama.
My most bad experience was for Savitri. To me, it was something which I could not relate to. I never wanted to ruin my image before my audience because I knew that Bidaai’s Alekh gave me love and affection of people. Hence I could never do anything to lose that love and affection.
Moving on, Sanaya is my close friend and would anytime love to work with her. I consider her to be the most beautiful female actor on television.
As of now I have no future plans but I will try and focus more on my passion (interior designing). And Bollywood is something I would love to see myself in for sure if I get an opportunity.
Well, may, Angad Hasija, take your leave for now. Will meet up soon with some more interesting stuff.
