It is very important for me to stay connected with my Twitter family - Rachana Parulkar

Rachana Parulkar
Rachana Parulkar who essays the role of Kalpi in Zee TV’s Ek Mutthi Aasmaan on Zee TV is not very surprised at the way the viewers have reacted to the sudden twist in the tale that was brought about with the wedding of Raghav (Aashish Chaudhary) and Paakhi (Shirina Singh). Says the actress, “This kind of reaction was pretty much expected. After seeing quite a lot of love between Raghav and Kalpi, they would have been disappointed for sure. Having said this, TV shows cannot go the predictable way. If there are no twists in the tale, then it would only be mundane watching. See the amount of inquisitiveness and curiosity that this twist has generated. Guess this is how a story line should be.” Ask her whether she feels pampered with so much of love showered on her and she states, “The feeling is excellent and out-of-the-world. I simply love the way the audience has reacted to my role. They are so much into our show that they live Kalpi’s life and they can go through what she faces.” Talking about the small Twitter family that she has made with her fans, Rachana goes on to say, “Earlier, I was never active on Twitter. But since Ek Mutthi Aasmaan happened to me, I just cannot stay away from my fans on Twitter. I respect and adore the love and praises they shower on me. I see to it that I connect with them and reply to their queries on Twitter frequently. I take time out in between my shots and even before hitting my bed at night. It is very important for me to stay connected with my Twitter family.” Before bidding adieu, the actress sends out a message to her fans, “Raghav and Kalpi are right here, and we will not leave you in sorrow. Having said this, I cannot give anyone any false hopes on how life would pan out for the two of them. Guess you all will have to patiently wait to see your loved pair get together.” Rachana, you indeed are ‘every fan’s delight’…
