MUMBAI: Eisha Singh is one of the actresses whose all the shows have been hit and her characters are very well-appreciated. She made her television debut in 2015 as Dhaani in Colors TV's Ishq Ka Rang Safed and was later seen as Rani in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
Eisha achieved further fame when she started portraying a Muslim woman named Zara Siddiqui opposite Adnan Khan in Zee TV's romantic drama Ishq Subhan Allah.
However, Eisha quit the show in the midst. As per the reports, she had landed a plum film project and wanted a few days off to pursue it. She wanted to resume shooting for the show after completing the film but the makers did not agree to it.
Recently, Eisha in a live session with SBS, she mentioned how the character of Zara was close to her and it was difficult to quit the show. “It was very difficult for me to quit Ishq Subhan Allah. It feels bad when you quit or the show goes off air. I gave my heart and soul for all my roles but the character of Zara is very close to my heart. I was skeptical to take up Ishq Subhan Allah. At that time I had two other offers as well. However, I agreed for Ishq Subhan Allah as the subject was very different and challenging. The show has given me a lot and till date I get emotional watching the show and behind the scenes videos.”
