Pooja Banerjee, the beauty with brains. Blessed with acting skills, Pooja is not only a pretty face but is also one of the hottest actors in the industry.

Taking a bold step, she donned a bikini clad avatar in her last show Swim Team.

Recently as we chatted with her on donning a bold outfit, we asked to Pooja whether she believes that Indian audience is yet to accept actors in such daring looks. With a pretty smile on her face, Pooja replied, “See, before joining, I had an extensive meeting with the makers and it was our priority to not to sensitize the matter. I even told the makers that I might quit mid-way if I don’t feel like continuing. We didn’t just aggravate the issue in a wrong manner, naturally, the audience accepted Reva as the way she was.”

Pooja added, “When someone is performing the role of the swimmer, the audience can’t expect them to wear saree and perform the sport. Our viewers naturally accepted me as Reva, as they could connect with my character. Till date I receive messages for the portrayal of Reva.”

So, you are happy with such character and not with typical bahus? With a laugh pooja commented, “I got depressed after playing the role of a bahu and I am sure that I won’t play such character ever again.”
