It's Kavita's happy birthday today

Kavita Kaushik, better known as Chandramukhi Chautala, gets a year younger today! So where's the party tonight? "Yes, I am throwing a big party tonight to celebrate the occasion and it will be held at one of the well-known lounge bars in the western suburbs of Mumbai," she says and at the same time coordinating different things to avoid any glitches. "There will be more than 70 guests and I am quite tense about the whole event since a number of senior colleagues and industry insiders will be coming. David Dhawan is also expected to come to the party. Which is why, I have not really kept any theme for the party.It will be an informal gathering and I hope everyone likes it," she smiles. The last few months have been hectic for the pretty actress as she is awaiting the release of her first film, Phillum city. "We are almost done shooting the film and have just one more song sequence and a few other important scenes to shoot. After that we begin post-production," she says. Phillum city has John Abraham in the lead with Kavita in a pivotal character. Co-founder of UTV Communications Deven Khote is directing the movie. Is there any other show she is looking at? "Not really. I am happy with my current show and do not want to spread myself thin. I feel the audience should not see you in too many serials and there should be some unknown facts about every celebrity, otherwise the charm wanes off! This is precisely the reason why I dislike reality shows like Bigg Boss where celebrities are shown doing everything from brushing their teeth to washing utensils," says the fiercely private person. No wonder then when we quizzed on her relationship status with Karan Grover, she responds, "It is complicated!"
