J.D.Majethia, the ace producer is on ‘Cloud Nine’, as his dream of launching an acting academy for aspiring actors turns reality today!! Hats Off Acting Studios (H.A.S.), will have a soft launch today (6 May 2013) with the vacation batch opening up. In the second or third week of June, the producer plans to start full time courses to identify talents. Talking about the academy, J.D. told Tellychakkar.com, “It has always been my dream to provide guidance to aspiring actors. I see that today’s generation don’t have the proper guidance and do not have an idea about going through auditions, and sustaining their position when it comes to competitions. I believe that an aspiring actor needs to market himself well to gain success, and this is what we will be tutoring them. Our academy will have a completely different approach when it comes to imparting lessons. We will teach them the simple and practical theory useful today to gain a name in television and movies.” J.D. further stated that he has received enormous support from his well-wishers in the Bollywood industry. “Apart from Aatish Kapadia and me, we will have quite many producers from Bollywood coming over to share their experiences with our talents. Whenever the students will perform, I will request such big names to monitor their performance and help them get the platform for success. Well-wishers like Ratan Jain, Vipul Shah, Mukesh Bhatt, Ramesh Taurani, Ashok Thakeria and many others have obliged to give their guest lectures. I have always looked up to them and they will help me.” Talking about their faculty bench, the producer stated, “Saumya Joshi, an eminent theatre person will be there. Dipesh Shah, of Hats Off will give the students the much-needed camera training, Aatish Kapadia, Suraj Vyas and many others will be part of the faculty.
