Jayati Bhatia to play DOUBLE ROLE and will continue being a part of Sasural Simar Ka 2; Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim to make an exit post few episodes

Jayati will be seen playing a double role in Sasural Simar Ka 2 and will continue in the show while Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim will make an exit after a few episodes.

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

We’ve been at the forefront of reporting updates about Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka.

TellyChakkar.com exclusively reported that actor Salman Shaikh will be joining the cast of the show.

Now we have an exclusive update on the show. (Read here: Checkout how Radhika Muthukumar preps up for her role as Choti Simar in Sasural SImar Ka 2!)

Popular actress Jayati Bhatia played the character of Nirmala Devi in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka season one. She was fondly called ‘Mataji’ in the show. Mataji was a simple woman who was a firm believer of Goddess Durga. She was an understanding mother-in-law to her daughters-in-law.

In Sasural Simar Ka 2, Jayati Bhatia will be seen playing a double role. She will play the character of Mataji’s twin and elder sister Geetanjali Devi Oswal. Mataji and Geetanjali Devi are quite opposite to each other in terms of their thoughts on women empowerment. While Mataji believes in the same, Geetanjali Devi doesn’t appreciate working and aspirational women. According to her, the daughter-in-law of the family should only focus on keeping the in-laws happy by binding them together.

While Jayati Bhatia will continue to be a part of the show, Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim will take an exit soon (after a month and a half probably) after setting up the show.
