MUMBAI: Actor Kapil Nirmal believes that the power of the youth lies in their energy, ideas, and drive for change, making them crucial to a nation’s growth. Speaking on the occasion of International Youth Day, the Mangal Laxmi actor says that good educations is what will help them flourish.
“The youth bring energy, new ideas, and the drive to make changes. If guided well, they can take the country forward,” he says, adding “By educating them and teaching them how to check facts. But I believe some will go the right way and some won’t, that’s how the world works. Just like police exist because there are thieves, misinformation will always be there. I try to check the source before believing anything.
On what the youth of India need most, Kapil emphasised that it cannot be limited to a single factor. “They need good education, job opportunities, and support for their ideas. Policymakers should work on this. I respect many people for what they have achieved, but I don’t follow anyone blindly. I take inspiration from different people,” he says.
He adds, “Evolution is a continuous process. Every generation changes with time. I would not like to comment much on this right now.”
