MUMBAI: In a shocking turn of events, renowned comedian Kapil Sharma’s recently inaugurated café in Canada became the target of gunfire earlier today.
According to multiple television reports, several shots were fired at the premises. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, and all individuals present are said to be safe.
Local authorities acted promptly, cordoning off the area as part of a continuing investigation.

As per The Times of India, a BKI (Babbar Khalsa International) activist has allegedly claimed responsibility for the incident. The reported motive appears to be linked to past remarks Kapil Shama allegedly made about the traditional attire of the Nihang Singhs — a Sikh warrior sect.
So far, neither Kapil Sharma nor his team has issued an official statement addressing the incident.
