We never seem to get enough of the number of stars who faint on the sets. Some faint due to work stress, some due to diets gone wrong and some due to bad health. The latest to hit the floor was Karan Wahi who is currently seen in Sony’s Mr and Miss TV. And this cost him dearly. Talking of his fainting spell Karan says, “I just blacked out and fell on the stage. For few seconds I could not see or hear anything but then I got up and continued with my performance.” He was performing to the Mithun number I’m a disco dancer. He started well but after he fainted the performance went for a toss. And the judges did not give him a second chance. “After my performance the judges asked me what happened. I said I blanked out instead of saying blacked out. They thought I had forgotten my steps so a second chance was not given to me,” he explains. The actor explains that he fainted due to stress and less sleep. “I’m shooting after a long time and thus due to irregularity in my schedule I fainted. When I was at home my diet and sleep was perfect,” he says. Our khabroo from the sets revealed that “Even Swapnil slipped during his performance but nobody even realised. He revealed it only after the judges commented on his act. The judges said that Swapnil was not given a second chance so it would be unfair to give one to Karan.” “I’m ok with the judge’s comments. In the second round of jugalbandi I faired well with Swapnil. I just wish that at least the judges should have seen my performance properly. I requested them to see my performance without giving me marks. I failed to persuade the judges.” Karan has now understood that reality shows are not for the faint hearted.
