KD to fight for the honour of a freedom fighter on Sony TV's Adaalat

Sony Entertainment Television’s courtroom drama Adaalat (Contiloe Pictures) this week depicts a tale of honor and betrayal. The episode starts with KD Pathak meeting a young boy named Aman whom he rescues from some bullies. This chance meeting with Aman, introduces KD (Ronit Roy) with his father, Inspector Samar Sheikh who has been accused of helping a dreaded terrorist Bilawal escape and deemed a traitor. On the other hand, Samar's grandfather is to be honored on Independence Day felicitation ceremony for contributing to the freedom struggle but he refuses to be a part of it till the honour of his family and that of his grandson is restored. The fact that only Samar had the key to the van door raises suspicion that probably he helped Bilawal escape. The mystery of how Bilawal escaped in the bracket of 3 minutes from a high security police van running at a speed of 80 km/hr puzzles all including KD. Nevertheless KD takes up the case to restore the family's honour and a freedom fighter's faith in the system.
