Kettan Singh: I have noticed that I have started talking to my family members

MUMBAI: Actor Kettan Singh, like other actors, was always busy on the set and didn’t get much time for his family members. However, this lockdown has helped him reconnect with them. “A lot has changed because on a normal day, I used to be out all the time, working with my colleagues. But now, staying at home, I have realised how much I have missed talking to my mother Madhuri Singh. I only live with my mother over here. I have noticed that I have started talking to my family members with whom I haven’t spoken for a long time,” he says. On being asked what he has learnt from his mom he says, "Mom are always loving and one learns to love unconditionally from them. My mother has always taught me it is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice"

In fact, the actor has even taken a break from grooming himself regularly, something he used to do daily before. “I don’t pay much heed to my grooming and stuff but I keep doing it every three-four days. When I am not able to look at myself in the mirror, that is when I shave and do various things to my hair like colour them,” he says.

Ask him how he keeps himself motivated, and he says, “One is that I watch a lot of content on Netflix, Amazon…anywhere I can. Secondly, I sing, I practice my guitar and keyboard. I read books or something on the internet as I am not a very good reader, I try to cook as I love chicken.” 

He has planned quite a few things for when things get better. “The first thing I want to do is talk to many people. I also want to get back to work and eat in a good restaurant,” he says. Kettan was seen in Apna News Aayega and also did a triple role in a show called ``Shankar Jai Kishan".
