MUMBAI: Yash Tonk is a well-known actor. The Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye actor feels that the OTT platform can never take over television.

The actor, who has dabbled in TV and films, believes that while the OTT platform saw a steady growth last year when it comes to audiences, TV’s reach will never diminish. He told Times Of India, “While I would like to explore OTT, I believe that it can never take over TV as the latter’s reach is wider. TV shows have looked at giving the audience wholesome family entertainment and that is its biggest plus point. However, that’s not always the case with the OTT platform.”

Further, Yash spoke about his mantra for a successful marriage. The actor is married to former co-star Gouri Tonnk and has two adorable daughters. He believes that to sustain a marriage with a partner who hails from the same industry isn’t always easy but you have to carve your path.

“My mantra for a successful marriage is based on three pillars– understanding, believing, and trusting each other in every situation,” he shares. Talking about working together, he says, “We would love to work together, provided the script is interesting.”
