Star Plus show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is getting a lot of love from the audiences. Every episode of the show is unfolding new mysteries and twists leaving viewers curious and on the edge of their seats. TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that a new character will soon join the ensemble cast of the show. Pandya Store fame Shrashti Maheshwari will be seen playing a docile housewife in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.

A source close to the project revealed that Maheshwari will play the character of Ajay's sister in the show. Ajay's sister is married to the real culprit of the hit and run case (played by Ankit Bhatia).
When contacted, Shrashti confirmed the buzz and said, "I had other plans and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 came as a blessing in disguise. I have never played a character like this before. She is joyful and happy-go-lucky but only until her husband enters the frame. She is extremely scared of her husband and hides a deep secret from everyone. She appears to be happy but carries a lot of pain within. I am extremely thankful to Balaji Telefilms, Ektaa ma'am, the casting and creative teams for the opportunity."
