MUMBAI: Star Bharat’s dramedy show ‘Gupta Brothers Chaar Kunware From Ganga Kinaare’ revolves around self-reliant brothers who are enjoying their bachelorhood and do not feel the need to get married. The show which started off as a slice of life dramedy starring Hiten Tejwani essaying the character of an eligible bachelor Shiv Gupta will now be seen getting married with a major change in the storyline of the show. We saw how the entry of gorgeous actor Parineeta Borthakur created a twist in the storyline and how she makes the brothers dance to her tunes. The show was earlier a family drama however the channel decided to go the revamp the story and changed the genre to dramedy (comedy drama). However, owing to the new twist in the storyline the makers have now decided to change the genre from dramedy to family drama again.  

The shows storyline up till now has been revolving around these four self-reliant kunwaras don’t need women in their life. Now, Shiv the elder brother will be seen bending down to their one rule ‘shaadi hai barbadi’ by  getting married to Mridula who had entered the Gupta house with a hidden agenda. It is up to the viewers to find out why has Shiv taken this drastic step?  

The ongoing track of the show where Mridula is seen taking over the house and the shop, these four brothers are now left with no option but to stay with her. We see how she is slowly taking over the lives of these brothers by making them work for her to the frequent banters between her and Shiv. Like we all know, Shiv will do anything for his brothers, the upcoming twist will lead to challenge their brotherhood and eventually his bachelorhood! 

The upcoming track of the show is full of surprises where the most eligible bachelor Shiv gets married to Mridula. The interesting storyline will take us on a journey of drama between the brothers and how shocked they are with Shiv’s decision.   

When spoken to the talented actor Hiten, he shared, “Shiv being the eldest of the lot has now taken the drastic decision to get married. This has definitely had an effect on the brothers who grew up with Shiv and his principles about being self- reliant. With the show earlier being a dramedy, now the makers have decided to change the genre to drama. While shooting for the wedding sequence when the brothers find about Shiv’s sudden decision is going to have its repercussions and let’s not forget drama is a part of life and is going to be something the viewers will have to look out for. Viewers have so far supported us brothers constantly now it is for them to join us on this new journey.”
