MUMBAI: Madirakshi Mundle has acted in films as well as television shows. She made her television debut as Sita in Siya Ke Ram and went on to win the hearts of viewers. She is also known for the show, Maa Vaishno Devi.

She plays Goddess Lakshmi in Maa Vaishno Devi. There have been reports that she is set to quit the mythological show. According to Times of India’s sources, the actress is not happy with her track in the show. A source said to the daily, “When Madirakshi signed up for the role, she was excited about it. However, as the track progressed, creativity issues surfaced and Madirakshi now feels that she had not signed up for this. She has informed the makers about her disappointment and feels that the role should be meatier.”

Meanwhile, there are also talks that the actress has been offered a Bollywood film and she might quit the show. However, dismissing the rumours, the actress informed, “I am happy playing Goddess Lakshmi. I have a few projects lined up, but that does not mean that I can’t attempt them while acting in the show. These are all just rumours. Also, I have always wanted to play Goddess Lakshmi and I need her blessings in my life.”
