MUMBAI: After a long break, television actress Mahhi Vij is all set to make a grand comeback on the small screen with her new show Seher Hone Ko Hai. However, ahead of the show’s launch, Mahhi has been hospitalised after her health reportedly deteriorated.
Mahhi’s publicist confirmed the news and shared that the actress was rushed to the hospital due to a high fever. The statement further mentioned that medical tests are being conducted and the course of treatment will be decided based on the results.
The post also included a picture of Mahhi looking visibly unwell in a hospital bed. It read:
“Mahhi Vij has been admitted to the hospital owing to a high fever. We were unable to reach her for further updates, but her publicist, Avantika Sinha, confirms that she is stable. Tests are being conducted, and further details will be shared once results are available.”
Just hours before her hospitalisation, Mahhi had shared a couple of Instagram stories revealing that she was battling a viral infection.

Coming to Mahhi’s upcoming show Seher Hone Ko Hai, she will be seen playing a supportive mother. The actress has already shot for the initial episodes in Lucknow, and the show is expected to have an official launch soon. It also stars Vaquar Shaikh, Rishita Kothari, Parth Samthaan, and Behzad Khan, among others.
