MUMBAI: Be it her controversial ad, her stint in Bigg Boss 6, her decision to bid adieu to her entertainment career or her sudden wedding, Sana Khan has never failed to grab the headlines.
The former actress was all over the news recently when photos and videos from her wedding with Gujrat-based Mufti Anaas went viral. Soon after, Sana officially introduced her husband to her followers.
Since the former is on the spotlight yet again, we bring to you a couple of instances that had kept her on the limelight, from the start of her entertainment career to after the time she bid adieu to it.
The former actress changed her name to Sayied Sana Khan post her wedding with Mufti Anaas. She posted a photo of herself and her mister, looking great together and wrote, “Loved each other for the sake of Allah Married each other for the sake of Allah May Allah keep us united in this Duniya And reunite us in Jannah.”.
In October, Sana dropped a post on her social media handles. Therein, she had announced her farewell from the world of glitz and glamour. An excerpt from her post could be read, “When I searched for the answer to this question in my religion, I realized that this life in the world is actually for the betterment of life after death. And it will be better if the slaves live according to the command of his Creator. And doesn't make wealth and fame his only goal; rather, he/she should avoid sinful life and serve humanity, and follow the path shown by his/her creator.".
In 2019, Sana and Melvin’s Instagram feed would be all about photos and videos with one another. From celebrating birthdays to dancing together, love was in the air for the former couple. However, early this year, the duo parted ways on an ugly note in public with allegations, leaking of personal chats and voice notes and a lot of washing dirty linen in public. From referring Melvin as “dirt”, “jerk” to accusing him of making an 18-year-old girl pregnant, this was one controversial breakup.
In a throwback interview, Sana was asked if Salman was 'uncomfortable' hugging her, as he was seen with his fists closed while hugging her at an event. To this, the actress had replied, “Who the hell am I to make him feel uncomfortable? It’s stupid to put somebody down by saying such a nasty thing and showing me in a wrong light. It’s not as if I went to hug him and he didn’t recognise me.”.
During one segment of the show, popular TV actress Aashka was seen rubbing balm on Sana’s chest. This had led to rumours doing the rounds back then that they were romantically involved. However, in a later interview, both had clarified it as a gesture of help because Sana had severe allergies and soon, the rumours died down.
