Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Kapil's ex-girlfriend entering his life again. Meanwhile, Lakshmi has vowed to get Kartik out of jail. She is convinced that Jiya is alive.
TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and C.I.D actress Srishti Gupta is all set to enter the show in a mysterious character.
According to sources, Gupta's character and personality in the show will come across quite similar to Jiya. As Lakshmi religiously searches for Jiya, since she's convinced that Jiya is alive, she comes across a new girl (played by Srishti Gupta) whose mannerisms are quite similar to Jiya.
A little birdie has informed us that Lakshmi will find something fishy with the mysterious girl and she will try to investigate the same in order to prove Kartik innocent.
When contacted, Srishti Gupta confirmed the buzz but refused to share character details.
Is the mysterious girl none other than Jiya? Only time will reveal.
