Maninee takes over from Ketki in CC

It's time for the wild card entry round in Sony's Comedy Circus and but obvious all the four evicted jodis will be performing will full gusto for a comeback. But one of the jodi, Ketki Dave - Pratap Faujdar won't be seen together dais this time around as the ara ra ra actor is not keen on getting back. And the actor who has replaced Ketki is the bubbly Maninne De! It's as if this Pari of Jassi fame was destined to do Comedy Circus. Yes, Maninne was initially offered CC, "but due to my earlier commitments, I could not take it up," says De in an exclusive talk with us. So what's the reason that she's now a part of this laugh riot after Ketaki's refusal? "I am doing it out of my relation with producers Optymistix and Sony channel," explains De. "The producers of the show are my very good friends and that is the only reason why I'm doing the show," says Maninne who accepted CC, just 24 hours before she had to shoot. Producer of Comedy Circus, Vipul Shah, quotes, "We always wanted to have Maninne on the show as her comic timing is good. When CC was about to go on floor, she was in the U.S, so she couldn't be associated with the show then." As for Maninne, she has really lived up to the saying, 'A friend in need is a friend indeed!'
