Manish Tulsiyani, Mugdha Chapekar and Gautam Sharma to star in Shon Tara Productions' maiden venture

Manish Tulsiyani, who debuted with Chhajje Chhajje Kaa Pyaar on Sony Entertainment Television, has bagged his next lead role in Shon Tara Productions’ upcoming love story. The show will be produced by Neeraj Sachdeva, who has earlier worked as the Project Head in shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum and 12/24 Karol Bagh of Sunshine Productions and Four Lions Films’ Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. Manish we hear, will be joined by Mugdha Chapekar and Gautam Sharma as the lead cast of the serial. The pilot for the same has been shot and the production house awaits the approval from the channel. If all goes well, the show will either be aired on Star Plus or Life OK, based on the results of the research team. The story is about a simpleton, played by Manish Tulsiyani, who is a matchmaker, and how he eventually falls for the girl for whom he is finding a life partner. We tried contacting the new producer Neeraj Sachdeva, and even sent him a text message, but got no response till the time of filing this article. On the other hand, Manish Tulsiyani asked us to call later, while Mugdha said, “Yes, I have auditioned for the show, but there is nothing beyond this. I was busy preparing for my Masters exams in World History. Now that I am done with my exams, I deserve a vacation.” Gautam Sharma too accepted that he has auditioned for the lead role, but “has no further information on it.” Watch this space for more updates on the show…
