Tellychakkar.com exclusively wrote about Balaji Telefilms coming with a new daily soap for which makers have roped in Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh as the leads.
Now, we have learnt that television actresses Mansi Sharma of Pavitra Rishta fame and Melanie Pais who was last seen in Jodha Akbar, will play important characters in the show.
Melanie will play the other woman in Iqbal’s life and Mansi will enact the role of Iqbal’s sister in the drama.
We buzzed Mansi who confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, I am doing the show but can’t share any details right now.”
We also tried calling Melanie but she remained unavailable to comment.
This upcoming project will be a family drama and the title is yet to be locked. The shooting will soon commence and it will launch sometime in September.
