The cute little Mazel Vyas, who was earlier part of Star Plus’ Saathiya as young Meera, has been roped in for Zee TV’s Meri Saasu Maa.
The Mumtaz Saba Productions’ project is set to take a small leap. Tellychakkar has already reported about Siddharth Arora replacing Pearl V Puri as the male lead.
Now, post the story jump, Bunty (Siddharth) would be the new guy in Pari’s (Hiba Nawab) life, post the death of Sattu (Pearl).
Mazel would play Bunty’s younger sister Arpita. As Bunty would be street-smart with an orthodox thinking about women, his sister Arpita would be scared of him.
Moreover, Pari would play Arpita’s tuition teacher and that’s how she would meet Bunty.
Mazel’s mother confirmed the development with us.
Two more actors who are roped in for the show are Ashwin Patil and Krishna Sisodia.
