MUMBAI: Shubham Mathur is a well-known name in the casting world. The young casting director has recently expanded his horizons, venturing into production and entrepreneurship. With over fourteen years in the industry, Mathur has played a pivotal role in introducing and popularizing many fresh faces.
After establishing himself as a respected figure in casting, Shubham launched his own firm, Scratch to Stage, aimed at mentoring aspiring talents. His vision was to guide those who dream of making it big in the entertainment industry and help them build a stable future.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Shubham said, "If an actor wants to excel in fiction, there are numerous acting schools available. But what about people who aspire to succeed in the reality show space? There was no dedicated platform for such talent — that’s where Scratch to Stage comes in. We provide a platform and the right guidance for people to learn how to ace reality shows and achieve their dreams of making it big in the industry."
He further added, "Once someone appears on a reality show, they gain immense exposure on social media. Their fan following grows, and they start receiving opportunities such as brand collaborations and other projects. This not only boosts their career but also ensures financial stability."
Shubham shared, "In my fourteen-year career, we have launched nearly 9,000 fresh faces who are now making their mark in the entertainment industry. Some of my discoveries include popular names like Kashish Kapoor, Pratik Sehajpal, Priyank Sharma, Shubhangi Jaiswal, Anveshi Jain, Shivam Sharma, and Naera Ahuja, among others. They’re not only excelling in their respective fields but also providing for their families — and that is what brings me the greatest happiness."
Well, that's a wonderful initiative, Shubham!
