Their match is made in heaven and their lives started on a grand note with the blessings of the most important people in their lives - their parents. Vivek and Divyanka were working together in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It was not exactly love at first sight for Divyanka and Vivek.

The duo was introduced by a fellow co-star as both had the same traits. Both got along really well and were looking for a partner as a marriage perspective. Divyanka and Vivek found perfect for each other and the duo took their relationship to the next level by first getting engaged in a hush-hush ceremony. In an interview, Divyanka and Vivek mentioned how people used to ask Divyanka about her relationship and that when will have a man in her life. Divyanka, in a jovial way, used to tell the team of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein of how they cast only married men in the show and that if they cast someone who is single, she can probably get to know him better.

Later, when Vivek was cast, there was a buzz that a hot and handsome man has been cast for the show. Divyanka and Vivek got to know each other and eventually fell in love!
