Dangal TV’s show Shrimati Shukla has been in the news for its similarities to Star Plus’ Anupamaa. The show features Bhakti Chauhan in the titular role, with Kapil Arya playing the male protagonist, Ravi Shukla.

TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that actress Keertika Gupta is all set to enter Shrimati Shukla in a parallel lead role. The actress, known for her work in shows like Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Ladies Special, and Shravani, will be seen playing an important character in the show.
When contacted, Gupta confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I’m joining the show. I’m playing a parallel lead, Anita Arya. Anita is a positive, educated, and modern girl. She is independent and working. She was Ravi Shukla’s classmate and love interest. Since he is not in a happy relationship with his wife, my entry will bring new twists, turns, and more entertainment.”
Keertika has also showcased her acting prowess in projects like Betrayal, Bloody Birthday, and Crackdown. She will soon be seen in the upcoming Bollywood film Tavvai.
