Mirror is an actor’s best friend as well as enemy: Rohit Mukherjee

It is a known fact that actors and mirrors go hand in hand! 

A mirror is said to be an actor’s best friend, isn’t it? 

But did you know some actors feel that a mirror is also their enemy? 

Wondering why do we say so?  

Well, at a press conference, actor Rohit Mukherjee shared his interesting opinion on mirror. 

He said, “A mirror is an actor’s best friend as well as enemy. When you are practicing your craft in front of it, it is your best friend and when you are performing, it might become your enemy. A mirror tells you the truth about you. If your performance is not to the mark, you will understand that too.”

Interesting view about mirror, we must say!  

Rohit, known for playing pivotal roles in soaps like Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Bhutu and Radha, also feels that an actor should not be known for a particular image.   

He explained, “An actor should not have any particular personality. He should be such that he can play any role with ease without thinking of his particular image. This will provide him the opportunity of playing varied roles.”
