Muni Jha to play Hritu Dudani's father in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Bandhan on DD

Post launching a host of hit serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki on Star Plus, Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony Entertainment Television, Balaji Telefilms is all set to launch Pavitra Bandhan, a new show on Doodarshan. Sources inform us that the lead characters who have been finalised for the show are Yash Tonk and Hritu Dudani. And playing a guest appearance would be veteran actor Muni Jha. Muni will play Hritu’s father in the show. He would be seen playing a character of a poor father working in the saree mill owned by Yash’s character. Muni was earlier part of popular shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) as JD Virani and was also seen in films such as Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He was last seen playing Kamlapati Mishra in Armanon ka Balidaan-Aarakshan on NDTV Imagine. We tried getting in touch with Muni but he remained unavailable.
