MUMBAI: Sai Ketan Rao will soon be seen in upcoming television drama, Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali. The actor has been an engineer and he shared his journey from being an engineer to an actor.

Sai Ketan Rao shared, “As much as I loved to study, I always knew I had the craft of being an actor instilled in me. While I was pursuing my engineering degree, my passion for acting only grew and from that day onwards I just knew I had to give it a shot and in turn, it was successful. I began shooting for TV shows and films in Telugu and then went on to branch out. I always believe in experimenting as language was not a barrier for me. I hope and pray that the audience will love this new avatar of Raghav Rao in my upcoming Hindi TV show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali’.”

Elated on the launch of his new show, versatile actor Sai Ketan Rao said “This show is one of a kind and I am glad to be marking my debut on Hindi Television with it. I felt extremely fortunate that I got to work during such tough times. When this opportunity came, there was no time to register what this meant to me. It startled me. It’s quite overwhelming. I felt very secure. My aspiration with this character is to be able to give myself over to it completely, so that I can immerse myself in the role, to be able to do justice to it. Shooting for this show is like a holistic learning experience. Truly excited for its launch and hope to capture the audience’s attention.”
