MUMBAI: The wait is finally over! Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has been announced as the new face of the Naagin franchise. Naagin 7 will be led by her. There were a lot of speculations regarding the actress who would play the lead role in the show. The rumors and speculations were put to rest in the recent Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, wherein Priyanka was unveiled as the new Naagin.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who played her first lead role in Colors’ Udaariyaan, received immense love for her journey in Bigg Boss 16. The host of the show, Salman Khan, even appreciated her and stated that she was a winner for him. Choudhary took to social media and shared a long post about bagging Naagin 7 and promoting it on Bigg Boss 19 alongside Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor.

Taking to Instagram, Priyanka wrote, “Meet your new Naagin. Coming to your screens very soon, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude today. A huge thank you to @ektarkapoor ma’am @shobha9168 ma’am for believing in me and trusting me to take the Naagin legacy ahead — it truly feels like a dream come true. To @balajitelefilmslimited, thank you for giving life to this iconic world and making me a part of it.”
She also wrote, “Performing on the Bigg Boss stage once again, and sharing it with @beingsalmankhan sir, is nothing short of a blessing. That stage gave me my beautiful fanmily — my fans — and today, to return there for Naagin feels like life coming full circle.”
