Neetu Kapoor to grace Indian Idol 12 as a special guest while the contestants will pay tribute to late actor Rishi Kapoor

MUMBAI: Indian Idol, one of the most popular singing reality show, is currently on its 12th season. Indian Idol 12 is being judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani, and we often see interesting themes on the show, on the basis of which, the contestants sing the songs. We have also seen some special guests on the show, now we learn that we shall see Neetu Kapoor as a guest in the upcoming weekend.

The show Indian Idol 12 will pay a tribute to late actor Rishi Kapoor, while Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor will be seen as a special guest. Neetu Kapoor is all set to shoot for the episode today. A source informed India Today that the show will have a Rishi Kapoor special episode wherein the contestants will pay homage to the late actor and will be seen singing songs from Rishi Kapoor’s films.

Rishi Kapoor passed away in April last year after a 2-year-long battle with cancer. Neetu Kapoor, and their daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni often share old pictures with the late actor, as they miss him, and recall fond memories from the past.

Coming back to Indian Idol 12, we earlier saw special guests such as Dharmendra, Asha Parekh, Hema Malini and Jeetendra on the show. Shilpa Shetty also appeared as a special guest, and she was seen recalling old days from back when she was ‘secretly dating’ her hubby Raj Kundra, during Life In A Metro shoot
