MUMBAI: Dancer and actress Nora Fatehi recently disclosed that her journey into the popular reality television show Bigg Boss 9 was not as straightforward as it appeared.
Although she eventually entered the house as a wild card contestant on Day 58 of the 2015 season, she was initially approached by the producers to be one of the main contestants at the start of the show.

Nora explained that she declined the first offer due to the significant commitment required for a full season.
She felt unprepared to dedicate three months to the demanding environment of the Bigg Boss house.
Her entry was therefore delayed until she felt mentally ready to tackle the challenge, albeit for a shorter duration.
She recounted the thought process behind her eventual acceptance of the wild card offer: "When they came back for the wild card entry, I thought, 'Okay, maybe it'll only be a few weeks.
I can do that.' I wanted to let the world know that I was here," she explained.
Nora Fatehi entered the house on Day 58 and was subsequently eliminated on Day 83 of Bigg Boss 9, a season which was ultimately won by Prince Narula.
Despite her short stay, her stint on the show provided a significant boost to her visibility, helping to launch her career further in the entertainment industry. She subsequently gained widespread fame for her dance performances and cinematic appearances.
