OMG: Mohit Malik BURNED while performing for Zee Rishtey Awards

The fire stunt act on the stage of Zee Rishtey Awards held Saturday night (29 November 2014) almost got fatal for actor Mohit Malik, the protagonist of Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki (Spellbound Productions). Yes, the man got burnt severely on his arms while performing an act amidst flames. A source states, "Mohit was actually performing a daring stunt act with fire. He mistimed a jump when the fire blew up on his arms. The man got major burns, but still managed to continue with the act and went on to complete it amidst severe pain. As soon as the act got over, Mohit was seen running backstage to call for first aid." Mohit has suffered burns on both his hands, from the shoulder area to his forearm. The burn on the right hand is very severe and runs up to the wrist, is what we hear. Another source from the set of his Zee TV show said that Mohit's shoot had to be cancelled yesterday, and he has been resting. He is expected to shoot today, but there is a question mark on his health condition. Unfortunately, for Mohit, tomorrow (1 December) happens to be his wedding anniversary and this injury has certainly come as a dampener for him and wife Additie Shirwaiker. We at Tellychakkar.com managed to talk to Mohit who said, "Yes, it is unfortunate that I had this accident. All I can say is that it is a real bad phase. Having said this, I have to say that my life got saved; so I am thankful to God. I was in the midst of fire, and unfortunately I had applied a bit of oil on my hand and this affected me badly." Ask him about his anniversary and he says, "Yes, it’s my anniversary today. But I am not alright. I am in pain and cannot even wear my dress. But I have to resume shoot tomorrow as we have telecast issues. Let's see how it goes." Mohit, we can only say that God is with you! Get well soon.
