Papad Pol’s not going off air

A section of the media reported about SAB TV’s Papad Pol going off air. But there is reason to cheer as the show has not been shelved. However, the show will be shifted to an early time slot and Hats Off Productions’ upcoming show Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Love Story will replace it. A source says, “The channel wanted to pull Papad Pol off air due to its dwindling TRPs but since the production house has now revamped the show the channel wants to retain it. Hence it will now be shifted to the 7:30 pm slot and Chintu Chinki will be aired in its place at 8 pm from 22 August. Furthermore, Contiloe Film’s Ammaji Ki Galli that is currently being aired at 7:30 pm will be given the 7pm slot. Currently, the channel shows a repeat telecast of Gutur Gu at 7pm.” Vipul Shah of Optimystix confirmed the news and said, “We have faith in Papad Pol so we have revamped it and now the audience will get to see lot more humour. The show not going off air is indeed a blessing in disguise for us.” We also contacted actress Rakshanda Khan who plays the role of Parminder in Ammaji Ki Galli and she confirmed the time slot shift of the show, “Yes, the show is being shifted to an earlier time slot and we have already shot for its promo.”
