Parag Tyagi’s father passes away; the actor and his wife Shefali Jariwala fly down to his hometown in Ghaziabad for last rites

Parag Tyagi’s father passed away in his hometown in Ghaziabad on May 25.

MUMBAI: Parag Tyagi, who was last seen in Zee5’s Aghori, has lost his father. His father passed away in his hometown in Ghaziabad on May 25. As domestic flight services resumed in India from May 25, Parag Tyagi and his wife and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shefali Jariwala took a flight to reach his hometown.

Parag confirmed the news of his father’s demise with India Forums, and said that his father had not been well and passed away after an attack. He said that Shefali and he reached yesterday and luckily the flight services had resumed or they would have had to travel by road. His hometown is in Modinagar, in Ghaziabad, and to reach there, the couple flew down to Delhi and then drove to Ghaziabad for the last rites. “Yes, he was not well. And it happened on Monday. He went for his dialysis and suddenly he got an attack. Shefali and I reached yesterday. We took a flight from Mumbai and luckily the flight services had already started or else we would had to travel by road,” said Parag. 

According to Desi Martini, Parag Tyagi also has an older brother Anurag Tyagi, who is settled in Australia and since international travel is not allowed, for now, he would not be able to make it to Ghaziabad.
