Paras Singh Minhas was nervous to shoot for a rape scene in Colors' Bani

Have you ever heard a TV baddie getting nervous just before shooting for a murder or a rape scene? No, we guess!!! But here we have someone who was extremely nervous when he had to shoot for an attempt-to-rape scene. Yes, Paras Singh Minhas, better known as Randeep Singh of Colors’ Bani - Ishq Da Kalma, was extremely nervous before shooting such a scene for his show, produced by Mystic – An Entertainment Company and Colosceum Media Pvt Ltd. The scene was such that Randeep comes home heavily drunk and tries to rape Bani (Shefali Sharma). Though she runs to protect herself, he forces himself on her. But finally, she manages to save herself. It was a simple scene but it took Paras a couple of days to shoot for it. When asked why it took so long, he confessed, “I have always played positive roles on-screen and my character, till the rape scene, was sort of shown in good light. When the creative told me that I would have to shoot for such a scene, I did not know how to react as I had never shot for a rape scene earlier. For me, bashing up people is easier than shooting for a rape sequence. This is why I was extremely nervous the day we had to shoot for this particular scene. But surprisingly, the scene turned out to be extremely good.” Does, this mean that you won’t be taking up negative roles henceforth? “I love negative characters and I would want to play negative throughout.” All the best, Paras!!!
