Parineeta talks to us about her character and how she is enjoying playing it and the upcoming episode of Karva Chauth. Parineeta was earlier introduced as Mridula and later her real identity is revealed as Ganga and we saw the shift in her dual personalities on the show.
Mridula was a smart girl, but Ganga’s character has a mixture of emotions. Along with her unique habits, it has its own charm. We see Ganga has promised Shiv that she will not do anything that is wrong and that she is a totally changed person now. Shiv supports and trusts her. She is in love with him and misunderstands that Shiv loves her back. Ganga is trying her best, but it will take her time to adjust to her new life.
Due to the social distancing norms makers decided to have a lockdown friendly simple shaadi for the jodi. It is exciting considering the tone of the show and also the ongoing situation. With the festivities coming in it will be a special Karva Chauth for Shiv & Ganga. But makers are going to show all the festivities for the newly wed in full swing as viewers will witness the first Karva Chauth of Shiv & Ganga.
The makers and the actors shot the episode recently and Parineeta shares her preparation for the special track, "Karva Chauth is a festival celebrated by women for the well-being and long life of their husbands. My character in the show Ganga got married to Shiv recently and it will be their first Karva Chauth together and to get into the skin of the character I had only fruits on the sets during the shoot. It was indeed a great experience to witness such an amazing festival where the women keep fast and nowadays even the husbands keep the same. I got to learn a lot about the festival and its importance while shooting since my character is learning the traditions of the Gupta family. I felt really good shooting for the sequence. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous Karva Chauth."
