MUMBAI: The Pearl V Puri case has taken the television industry by shock, and many celebrities have come forward and supported the actor and have said that he is innocent and is being framed.
In the past, we have seen how Ekta Kapoor and Divya Khosla Kumar have come forward and shared their thoughts of how Pearl was being framed in the case. They also slammed the father for creating a false narrative and the mother for not coming out and speaking the truth.
The latest we know is that the actor has been taken to Thane Jail and is under 14 days of judicial custody.
The victim’s mother has said that a lot of people have been calling and telling her to speak in media and that her silence shouldn’t be construed as weakness.
She further said that she has full respect for and faith in the judiciary system and that’s why she is silent. She also requested not to ridicule her daughter and her in public as that’s not permissible by law. Even publishing a victim’s name in public is an offense.

The mother said that she chose to be silent as she is not the complainant in the case, and whatever is true shall come out. The matter is subjudice, and hence, she is not speaking to anyone as the custody case is pending in the high court.
In the end, she said that she requests everyone to not make a mockery of the legal system. She has given her statement to the concerned authorities and the truth shall prevail.
Well, soon, we will come to know where the investigation has reached and what is the truth. Pearl's bail hearing will be heard on Friday.
