Pooja Madan plays mother of three in Pratigya

Pooja Madan (who played Santosh in Amanaat ages agon) is back to face the arc-lights. Some while ago, she did a cameo in Rajan Shahi's Swarg. Now she is doing a bigger role in Pratigya. Apparently, she will be playing a mother of three grown up boys in the Star Plus show! Pooja confirmed the development and said, “Yes, I have already started working on the show and my first episode was aired last night. As for playing mother to three grown up boys, once you see the show and know my character, you will realize it is a nice role. You also need to consider the fact that Pratigya is the number one show! Plus, they required only a few days in a month which I can afford right now. So, when this offer came by, I said yes almost immediately.” Talking about her character, Pooja says, “I play Rakhi Mathur who is educated, upright and has an opinion on everything. Chetan Pandit is playing my husband. In the show, one of my sons, who is a lawyer, will get married to Pratigya's sister.”
