She went on to act in other films like Jiyala and Deewana Hoon Mein Tera, though she did not create any waves in Bollywood. So she went down South and did films with super star Mamooty. She also produced a Hindi movie titled Aanch staring mega stars like Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and also the launch of Suchinder Bali (Son of Vaijayanti Mala Bali) along with other stars. The multi-faceted actor recorded a music album titled Poo 4 U. A remix album, it has 11 songs sung by her and was released by House Of Music (HOM). It also had two music videos picturised on her. Poonam's latest album with T Series was titled Take Me Home Baby with 8 remix songs. The two videos shot for the album included the super hit video Tauba-Tauba and Chorni. Now she has gone a step ahead and shot a music video album called Pooh Kya Jalwa Hain by Venus records and Tapes Pvt. Ltd with music composed by D J Sheizwood, wearing nothing, well almost, that is if you consider body paint and a skimpy two-piece suit as wearing something. She sure is all geared to stir up a storm. Moral policemen will probably have to work overtime.
