Pratyusha death: Actress and her BIG controversies

Known to be a controversy-magnet among friends and industry, the young Pratyusha Banerjee was embroiled in difficult situations, gossips and rumours. It might have been a part and parcel of her profession, but she handled it with grace and grit. But somewhere, all of those situations weakened her heart and two days back (1 April), the actress put an end to life by allegedly hanging herself to death. Pratyusha’s tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh is said to be the reason why the girl from Jamshedpur with big dreams, decided to shut her eyes forever. Friends and family are shocked that the actress could not take the pressure, as she had fought everything prior to this with an unbelievable strength. Balika Vadhu exit: With dreams and aspirations in her eyes, Pratyusha moved to Mumbai from Jamshedpur as one of the top three girls chosen to play the lead in Balika Vadhu, Colors’ most popular show that time. With an SMS polling organised by the channel, the nation chose Pratyusha as their Anandi. It seemed luck had written the best story for her. But all went in vain when news of Pratyusha’s continuous tantrums started doing the rounds. Due to differences among the makers, Pratyusha and the channel, she quit the popular daily and was replaced by Toral Rasputra. Case against ex boyfriend Makrand: Seems like Cupid was never on Pratyusha’s side. Even before Rahul came in her life, the actress had a failed relationship with Makrand. The two, although painted the town red with their love story, were constantly fighting suspicion and jealousy. With constant arguments eating away the relationship, Pratyusha shocked all when she filed a police case against Makrand stating that he was threatening to kill her. The ugly spat ended with the two parting ways. Pratyusha was said to be under depression post which she found love again in Rahul. Broken friendship with Sara Khan In the industry where relationships are more fragile than a glass, Pratyusha found a real friend in Sara Khan, another upcoming actress. The two soon became like Siamese twins, spotted everywhere together. Their 'kissing' pic in the swimming pool made headlines. But all was over soon when Sara accused Pratyusha of being a gossip monger and back-stabber. Such allegations shattered their friendship. But sometime back, the two got back together, forgetting their differences for a fresh start. Pratyusha-Karan Patel-Kamya angle While in the Bigg Boss house, the one contestant Pratyusha trusted blindly was Kamya Punjabi. Calling her Kamya di, Pratyusha was an ardent follower and it seemed like this friendship would make it to the history of TV industry. But people woke up to the shocking story of Kamya and Pratyusha's friendship turning sour. The reason? Karan Patel. Kamya, who was dating Karan then, suspected Patel and Pratyusha of being too close and thus she threw Pratyusha out of her and Karan’s lives. Tantrums on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka Pratyusha’s career seemed to again see a high point when she bagged the negative lead in Sasural Simar Ka. Her character not only found great love among the audience, but her performance as the daayan was much appreciated. Soon though, news of Pratyusha’s unprofessional behaviour started doing the rounds. She would reportedly not reach the shoots on time and would be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Once, she also stormed out of the sets furiously after some issues with the production team. Walked out of the sets of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai Pratyusha bagged an important episode for &TV’s Darr Sabko Lagta Hai but even before she could start shooting, she moved out. Sources shared that the makers offered her clothes that she was not comfortable wearing onscreen. On the first day of the shoot, Pratyusha fought with the team and stormed out. The team though clarified their stand stating that the attire was the same in which Pratyusha had given her look test. Non-repayment of birthday party bills Rahul, like a typical boyfriend, threw a grand party for Pratyusha’s birthday last year. With industry people thronging the gala, it was a night to remember. But after a couple of months, news surfaced that the party bills were yet to be paid. The cheques had bounced and the hotel authorities were left in a lurch with Rahul refusing to pay the bills. Police intruding her house Recently, Pratyusha made headlines after she accused few men of intruding her house, pretending to be bank officials. Pratyusha and her mom were alone at home when some hefty men forced their way into their house looking for Rahul. Her boyfriend had missed few instalments of his car and they were on his lookout. The actress solely handled the situation and filed an FIR against the men at the Kandivali police station. At the mere age of 24, Pratyusha seemed to have gone through a lot and every time her belief and confidence seemed to have only weakened. She might have a smiling face, a strong girl attitude for all, but what she went through was known to none. And no one will ever know...as the girl is now in heaven, smiling at all that is happening here. We hope she finds eternal peace at last.
