MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya is a popular show, and it is easy to see why. It appeals to those who believe that opposites attract, as well as those who believe in fate. Also, if fate brings two people together, they will stay together regardless of what happens.
The show has frequently managed to gain the top position from the time of its inception, all thanks to the outstanding cast and gripping storyline. Fans are in awe of the chemistry between the lead couple Prachi and Ranbir played by Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul respectively.
As fans might know the show is heading for another major generation leap, which will mark the exit of the current actors, as reports.
Actor Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma have been roped in to play the leads, while we do see a glimpse of Mughda Chaphekar in the first newly released promo of the show.
The promo is quite intriguing and while ,we have always seen the show involved in unlikely couples who fall in love with each other. This starts with talk of love, and that too love at first light, and then we see a grand wedding take place, between Rajvansh and Purvi, but as the ceremony goes on, and Purvi takes all the rasams and vows seriously, things turn a bit mysterious, when rajvansh played by Abrar, keeps taking half oaths and vows, and then we see the title appear.
This means that the story is about a girl who is competlet in love and devoted to her husband, while the husband is not at all deeply involved with girl, Purvi’s love is going to more pure than of Rajvansh.
Kumkum Bhagya Ek Nayi Shuruwat, does promise a new start, but stays true to it’s roots, and it is a actually a generation leap, similarly when Mughda and Krishna took over, Abhi and Pragya were stil very much a part of the story, we hope that Prachi stays a part of the story as well.
The teaser looks promising and intense, and with a show this big and with this legacy, the burden of handling that can be took much, we really will have to wait and watch, if Abrar and Rachi can continue the magic of Kumkum Bhagya.
