Actress Purva Parag, who was seen essaying the role of Shivya Pathania’s mother in the Sony TV show, Humsafars will soon be back on the small screen!!
The actress will share screen space with her friend and colleague from her days of National School of Drama, Pankaj Tripathi.
Our readers would remember reading about Gangs of Wasseypur fame Pankaj Tripathi roped in to play protagonist, Mohit Sehgal’s father in Zee TV’s upcoming show, Zilla Chhapra.
As per a reliable source, “Purva has been finalized to play the wife of Pankaj Tripathi and mother to Mohit Sehgal. She will have a positive and powerful role to play; her character will go through a transformation with the story progression.”
When contacted, Purva confirmed the news, “Yes, I am playing an important part in Zee TV’s Zilla Chhapra. However, this is not the right time to talk about it as we have not yet gone on floor.”
Zilla Chhapra will go on floor in the first week on June. The show has Mohit Sehgal and Shiney Doshi as leads.
