Pyumori Mehta to enter Punar Vivah

Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Punar Vivah aired on Zee TV is all set to witness the wedding of Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kratika Sengar). But before that, a lot of drama will take place. Pyumori Mehta who is currently seen in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon will enter the show as Arpita’s (Shweta Munshi) mother. The viewers already know that Yash and Aarti have agreed for re-marriage owing to family pressure. But inside their hearts they do not want to tie the knot. In the future episodes, Arpita’s mother played by Pyumori Mehta will come down to attend Yash’s second marriage. A source close to the show informs Tellychakkar.com that Pyumori’s character is an important one as she will convince Yash to accept Aarti happily. “She will ask him to forget Arpita and welcome Aarti in his life. There will also be a big drama over who will do the Kanyadaan,” adds the source. When Tellychakkar.com contacted Pyumori Mehta, she confirmed the news and said, “I am very happy to be part of this show and I love the character that I am playing. I have enjoyed shooting for the scenes I am part of and just hope that even the viewers enjoy watching it.” Pyumori’s entry will go on air this Wednesday, on 21 March 2012.
