MUMBAI: Arvind Trivedi is a well-known personality of Gujarati film industry, but is majorly known for his role of Ravan in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. Arvind has tasted success in the entertainment industry. He has starred in over 300 films in his long career span.  

The ace star has been hugely popular for almost all his roles in his movies but it was Ravan's character which gave his career a new height.  

Apart from that, Arvind also had a successful and great political career and he is in some way connected to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  

The actor was an elected Member of Parliament from Sabarkatha constituency as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. Arvind was in the office till 1996. 

Not just this, Arvind has also been involved in a lot of social work and is linked to many social organizations.
